After reading some of the reviews on here I was quite apprehensive but have to say it's exactly what you pay for.. The flight is a bit of a squash but does pass quite quickly. The transfer was absolutely fine, yes it's a bit bumpy on the rocky ground but myself and partner found that part quite amusing and part of a charm to a developing island. On arrival we did have a few teething problems as room was unfinished and when I went to sit on bed it actually collapsed but they did change our room rather quickly.

Our safe did not work and after reading few things on here we decided not to ask them to re set and just kept our valuables on us to be on safe side. Yes there is a slight smell of drains in the rooms at times but it's not that bad and nothing to put me off the room was clean and adequate. We didn't have any tea and coffee facilities but we didn't mind. I'm quite a fussy eater but I found something to eat most nights, we tried the Italian and the pool bar and to be honest they are exactly the same as the main buffet hall in my opinion but I suppose it was more relaxed.

I found the staff to be ok but found the women tended to be quite off with me as a woman but fine with my partner but no big deal. The pool is massive and very busy but the beach is stunning and very unspoilt and as constant breeze quite comfortable. You can't swim in it properly but you can dip in enough to cool down. There is no drinks service on the beach you have to get them yourself and bring down but I think most people just bring a bottle of water down from the room.

We were there just to relax and enjoy some sun so didn't bother with the entertainment so can't comment but there was music on every night and was very busy. You can only get wifi in the lobby which at first was a bit annoying but then we actually agreed it was better as we did properly relax and turn off for our time there.
